- The game is confirmed for a Fall 2013 launch.
- There was no mention of next-generation consoles. For now, the game is only confirmed for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
- Single player campaign is mostly set in China.
- DICE is paying careful attention to its characters in Battlefield 4, looking to improve the single-player experience.
- Single player will include more robust leaderboards and stat tracking features.
- Along with this, there is a great emphasis on "social elements" in the single player, aimed to increase replay-ability.

Since the release of the Kinect SDK, Microsoft has been conducting research with a recent project that allows the Kinect to track the gestures of your hand including whether or not it is opened or closed.
Researchers put the multi-touch feature to the test using a painting program to create finger paintings with the new technology. It is rumored that with the acquired research of the multi-touch technology, a new version of Kinect could see a release with the rumored next-gen Xbox.
